	AREAS OF SERVICES

	• Litigation The Company handles all forms of litigation in Indian Courts and other fora. Lawyers of the Company regularly conduct matters before the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi, Bangalore , Bombay , Nagpur Bench, Chandigarh , District Courts, Debts Recovery Tribunal, the Company Law Board, Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Commission, Central Excise & Gold Control Appellate Tribunal, BIFR and Consumer Fora.

	• Arbitration & Conciliation The Company handles matters pertaining to Domestic and International arbitration/ conciliation under the rules of various Institutions like I.C.C, WIPO-Arbitration and Mediation centre, Indian Council of Arbitration, various Chambers of Commerce etc. of Alternate Dispute Resolution. The Company also handles petitions for appointment of Arbitrators through Supreme Court of India / High Courts and District Courts for enforcement of foreign judgments and Arbitral Awards, disputes relating to banking and financial activities.

	• Banking The Company carries out drafting and vetting of documents including Loan Agreements, Lease Deeds, Hypothecation Agreements, Overdraft Agreements, Secrecy Agreements, and Tripartite Agreements. The Company provides consultancy on lien, pledge, hypothecation, mortgage of real estate, charge, guarantees, indemnities, government guarantees, assignment of actionable claim/debts/insurance policies, cash collaterals, negotiable securities, statutory stamping of loan documents, registration of documents, enforcement of securities, advice on bank finance for industry, and opinions in related matters. It also does litigation for recovery of debts and prosecution of criminal complaints. It also provides Consultancy on E-Commerce and Banking regulations.

	• Commercial & Corporate The Company carries out drafting and vetting of domestic and international Commercial contracts, conditions relating to supply, agency, distribution, manufacture, production, research and development and Franchisee Agreements and all related legal actions in appropriate judicial fora. It further handles matters relating to Company formation – Approval of name and drafting of Memorandum and Articles of Association, and registration of Company – Filing of Application before the Registrar of Companies for commencement of business etc. It provides consultancy on all matters relating to Company Law Board, meetings and writing of minutes etc. and matters arising from the Companies Act and related Enactments. The Company also handles mergers, amalgamations, takeovers and other corporate alliances, instituting and defending petitions in matters arising out of the Companies Act and related Enactments. The Company provides advice on entry Strategies, Identifying members for collaboration (technical & financial) both in India and abroad. It provides consultancy on various Indian Laws and Policies relating to initiation of ventures in India , drafting of agreements and advice pertaining to Joint Ventures and Technical and Financial Collaborations, both Indian and foreign. The Company also works in preparation and filing of applications and relevant documents and follow-up with the Reserve Bank of India, Foreign Investment Promotion Board, Secretariat for Industrial Approvals, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry and with other Government and regulatory agencies keeping in mind the FEMA, Competition Law, etc.

	• Real estate The Company handles drafting and conveyancing of sale Documents, Powers of Attorney, Lease Deeds etc. and Mutation, Title Verification and Property Tax related matters, registration of documents before the Sub-registrar. The Company also handles cases relating to recovery of possession, specific performance of agreements, partition, declaration and injunction and eviction proceedings.

	• Labour/ Service Laws The Company provides advice and litigation on Employment, Labour and Industrial disputes, Workmen's compensation, Trade Union Laws, Provident Fund, Gratuity and Bonus.

	• Intellectual Property Laws The Company provides services relating to Searches, preparation and filing of applications/ documents for registration of Patent Rights, Trade and Merchandise Marks, Copyrights and Designs. The Company also handles all aspects of confidential information and trade secrets protection; and enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights, proceedings relating to injunctions and damages.

	• Cyber-laws/ E-Commerce The Company also provides expertise in drafting User Agreements, Website Development and Hosting Agreements, Legal Disclaimers etc. It further carries out consultancy on issues pertaining to cyber squatting, hacking, online impersonation and registration and renewal of domain names.

	• Taxation The Company carries out Tax planning for Domestic and International Mergers and Acquisitions, Tax planning for establishing a company or business including Joint Ventures, International Tax planning, Double Taxation Treaties. It Also provides advice on implications of change of domicile and residence, and transfer of assets between jurisdictions.

	• Indirect Taxes Customs – The Company provides opinions on rates of duty applicable on export and import of goods, Liaisoning with the Department for obtaining Clearances. Handling Criminal Matters arising out of customs violation. Appearing before the CEGAT, High Court and the Supreme Court in disputes arising in this area. Excise – The Company provides opinions on the issue of Manufacture, Classification and Valuation of goods. Computation of period of limitation. Filing of returns, opinions on exigibility of Excise Duty. Liasoning with the Excise Tax Department. Appearing in CEGAT, High Court and Supreme Court. Income-Tax – The Company provides opinions on exigibility of Income-Tax, Liasoning with the Income-Tax Department. Appearing before Income-Tax Appellate Tribunal, High Court and Supreme Court. Sales Tax – The Company provides opinions on exigibility of Sales-Tax. Liasoning with the Sales-Tax Department. Appearing before Sales-Tax Appellate Tribunal, High Court and Supreme Court.

	• Criminal The Company provides a range of services on the Criminal side as well. It carries out advise, opinions and litigation in criminal matters at all levels.
